Temples you should not miss in Kashi
Kashi Vishwanath, a Jyotirlinga, is the centre of the yatra. The Vishwanath Corridor is easier with a guide who knows queue timing, lockers, and what not to carry. Nearby: Annapurna Temple, Vishalakshi, and Kaal Bhairav (often visited before or after Vishwanath). Best time to visit Varanasi
October to March is the most comfortable weather for a full walking tour. Shravan and Maha Shivratri are powerful for Shiva devotees but very crowded — book VIP darshan, guide, and hotel early. Dev Deepawali (Kartik Purnima) lights the ghats; boat and rooms should be reserved well in advance.
